Overview
Edward Barenborg serves the Arrow Group team and its clients with a unique combination of private and public sector experience.
Before joining Anfield as its Director of Legislative Affairs, Edward worked for more than 30 years in executive financial positions. He worked in a range of industries, including oilfield services, hospitality, general aviation and importing and distribution. He also spent more than a decade as the CFO of a vertically integrated citrus company. Through most of this time, he also was primarily a shareholder and controller of a multi-unit restaurant company in Houston, Texas.
In 2015 Edward semi-retired, but he remained active consulting for small companies on financial and IT issues and also taught college accounting. He served as treasurer for a candidate for the Florida House of Representatives in 2016. When she won she asked Edward to come out of semi-retirement and serve as her Legislative Aide, which he did for six years.
Edward has been married to his wife Teri more than four decades, and they have three grown children and two grandchildren.
